2012 Mapping Showcase at Lords

Following the success of the Mapping Showcase last December, and having had several participants asking if we would be doing it again, we have decided to run it one last time under LMF.
We had such a good response from exhibitors and great feedback from visitors that we think it needs to be a slightly bigger location – so we are holding the event at Lord’s Cricket Ground. Much more space for everyone and better facilities.
For each exhibitor there will be the option of running a masterclass or having an outside pitch to demonstrate kit. There will also be the chance to run competitions like last year’s Wii challenge. There will be a limited number of external keynote speakers who will present in the Lord’s Media Centre overlooking the ground and for those interested tours to the Long Room and museum.
This time the event will run throughout the day from 9.30 to 17.30 on Thursday 6th December 2012. As before it is free to all the visitors.
A final opportunity for the mapping and surveying industry to show London what it expects to be happening over the next few years.
