What is London Mapping Festival 2011 – 2012?
The London Mapping Festival (LMF) 2011 – 2012 was an 18 month programme of activities designed to promote the unique range of mapping, innovative technologies and applications that exist for the Capital. The festival showcased all mapping-related disciplines including cartography, surveying, GIS, GPS and remote sensing.
The activities were organised by LMF supporters (both commercial and non-commercial organisations) and combined existing events with new specially organised ones to provide something for everyone. These included workshops for schools, public lectures, professional conferences and mass participation activities.
