Mission:Explore is a project to encourage young people and families to explore, experience, record and share their world in new ways. By challenging explorers to complete missions we help them to enjoy and learn through geography. You can discover missions in our children’s books, the first of which has been named as a Hay Festival & National Trust Outdoors Book of the year. Thousands more missions are on our website which is going to relaunch in September 2011 in a big and exciting way, with the likes of National Geographic Education already involved.
Created by a partnership of geography educators called The Geography Collective and the digital agency The Workshop we will be supporting engaging education initiatives for the London Mapping Festival.
