Londonist (http://londonist.com) is a web site about London and everything in it. That means news, reviews, features and event listings. The site has played an active part in promoting map making through a competition and exhibition of reader-submitted hand-drawn maps, to go on show at the Museum of London from April till September 2011. The site has also mapped London’s free wifi hotspots and initiated a community project to map all the V2 rocket strikes on London in the Second World War. Follow on Twitter (@londonist).
