The Land of Hopeful Commuters

LTM

‘Where do you hope to be?’ London Transport Museum is collecting Londoners’ responses to this question here, which will be used by the artist Agnès Poitevin-Navarre to create a new artwork for the Museum’s ‘Mind the Map’ exhibition! Here’s your chance to contribute to a major artwork that will be displayed in London Transport Museum, 18th May to 28th October 2012.

The artist Agnès Poitevin-Navarre is working with London Transport Museum to create a new map of London, based on your and hundreds of other Londoners’ response to the question: ‘Where do you hope to be?’. Should you wish to participate, you can complete the questionnaire online at: The Land of Hopeful Commuters and can find out further information at Mind the Map upcoming exhibition. Don’t forget to add your London borough postcode so that Agnès can plot your response, and your email if you’d like to be informed on the work’s development. Only your response to the question will be shown on the artwork, not your personal details.

Need some inspiration? Here’s some of the responses Agnès collected from London Transport Museum staff:

-       Picnicking in the park this summer, laughing with friends in London Fields

-       New York

-       In a place where my achievements outweigh my ambitions
